The last Friday in February, the 26th at 5:00pm is our next AFL Speaker Series event.   

Taking a Ringside Seat on Lafayette’s Farewell Tour.

Alan Hoffman, AFL President, 

Diane Shaw, AFL Curator and Special Collections Director, and

Julien Icher, AFL life member and Founder and President of The Lafayette Trail, Inc.

will offer a primer on what the tour was, art and artifacts from the tour and highlights of researching the Lafayette Trail now.  Special research discoveries will be shared with the audience!

Alan Hoffman, AFL President, and translator of Auguste Levasseur’s “Lafayette in America in 1824 and 1825” will present “A Farewell Tour Primer.”





Diane Shaw, AFL Curator and Special Collections Director, Emerita at Lafayette College, will discuss the “Art and Artifacts of the Farewell Tour."



 







Julien Icher, AFL life member and Founder and President of The Lafayette Trail, Inc. Will offer “Highlights of Researching the Lafayette Trail.”
