Saturday, September 6th at 4:30pm EDT:  

We will hold a wreath laying ceremony at Washington's tomb.  We will actually hold ceremonies at both tombs; the new tomb where George and Martha Washington currently reside, as well as the old tomb where Lafayette visited his deceased friend 200 years ago. 

Mount Vernon is waiving their entrance fee for attendees at this event. 

These ceremonies will be followed by a private LAFAYETTE BIRTHDAY dinner in the very special Betsy Ross Room at the Mount Vernon Inn.  Dinner is $70pp for a 3-course meal (with wine & beer included)...and of course a BIRTHDAY CAKE for Lafayette (who will be in attendance).
