Evening with Lafayette at the Rosewell Ruins

4:00pm to 6:30pm, The Friends of the Gloucester Museum of History are co-hosting An Evening with Lafayette at the Rosewell Ruins, a Living History Dining Experience featuring the Marquis de Lafayette.  This reception has been organized by AFL Vice President Robert Kelly.  Some details include...

AFL's very own (internationally renowned interpreter) Mark Schneider, of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, will present the Marquis de Lafayette.  You will be transported back to 1824 when Lafayette returned as “Guest of the Nation.” Discover Lafayette’s passions for freedom including emancipation of the enslaved and women’s rights.

Enjoy colonial music and witness a rousing musket salute.  Partake in a stunning selection of French inspired hors d'oeuvres prepared by Kelsick Market and enjoy beverages from Gloucester Brewing Company and Zoll Vineyards.

Tickets are $75/person and will go on sale in mid-September.  All proceeds will support future educational programming at Rosewell and the Gloucester Museum of History.  Please review more details HERE
