    Our day at Montpelier including lunch followed by a visit to Governor Barbour’s ruins late afternoon
    Sunday morning Boyd Tavern re-enactment (Lafayette’s last stop before his Monticello visit) and our day at Monticello.

Friday evening: University of Virginia Rotunda Dome Reception

Saturday: James Madison’s Montpelier

Sunday: Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello 

This will truly be a weekend filled with history & memories to be made!

Join President Thomas Jefferson, President James Madison and others in toasting Lafayette in the Rotunda at the University of Virginia

Welcome Lafayette arriving by carriage to Montpelier.  You will listen in on Madison and Lafayette’s discussion of current topics of the day and then visit Governor Barbour at his home (in ruins) with Lafayette.

Attend Lafayette’s arrival at Boyd Tavern and follow him up to Monticello.  There you will witness Jefferson & Lafayette’s embrace at Monticello.   

AFL members will be afforded all of this, and special tours of these properties tailored for the American Friends of Lafayette - plus more!
