Celebrating French and American Military Resilience in Style

The American Friends of Lafayette is excited to announce a partnership with the French Embassy and Defense Office as we celebrate French and American wounded veterans while encouraging sustainable fashion as a modern means of self-expression. On Tuesday, November 14 at 6 PM, we will be Celebrating French and American Military Resilience in Style at the French Embassy in Washington, DC.

This event is not just a fashion show; it is a powerful statement about the importance of fashion in empowering self-identity and helping our heroes overcome war's physical and mental impacts. “Never forget, Lafayette was a wounded veteran, shedding his blood for the American Cause at the Battle of Brandywine.”

The evening’s audience will be as diverse as the message, with Defense Attachés from over 40 foreign countries, and esteemed members of the American military, the veteran community, the DC fashion world, and a promising young generation of students and professionals representing our future leaders.
