Yorktown Victory Celebration 2019

October 18th to 20th

All reports indicate that this year's celebration at Yorktown was exciting and jam packed of events.

We were so pleased to continue our new tradition of joining in the parade. As evidenced in this wonderful photo provided by member Laura Berish. Work and other duties had previously kept her from the celebratory weekend although the Berish's are very active AFL members. But 2019 proved to be a perfect time to attend and she says We absolutely loved our first Yorktown. The parade is wonderful."

The Yorktown Celebration is always on October 19, rain or shine, and AFL always tries to create a very education, fun, festive itinerary around this day.

On behalf of any who attended this year's celebration we say THANK YOU to the Celebrate Yorktown Committee, The Yorktown Day Association, the National Park Service, & Colonial National Historical Park: all co-sponsors of the annual Yorktown Day Celebration.

And a special thank you to AFL members critical to us enjoying this event: Lea Gryk, Robert Kelly, David Bowditch and Abby Evens.
